From the M74

Take the Motherwell turn-off to the traffic lights at Strathclyde Park. Continue up Hamilton Road for 200 metres to the mini roundabout just after Parks petrol and Renault garage. Take a left at the roundabout into The Loaning. Continue on for 600 metres to the end of The Loaning. Turn left into Logans Road. Contiue for 150 metres. St Bernadette’s church is on the right. Parking is in the church car park and on the broad pavement in front of the church fence.

From Motherwell town centre

From Motherwell Cross take Hamilton Road in the direction of Strathclyde Park. Continue for 500 metres to the mini roundabout just before Parks petrol and Renault garage. Take a right at the roundabout into The Loaning. Continue on for 600 metres to the end of The Loaning. Turn left into Logans Road. Contiue for 150 metres. St Bernadette’s church is on the right. From Bellshill

Take Motherwell Road (which becomes Bellshill Road as it passes Forgewood) to the level crossing. Turn right over the railway into Logans Road. Continue for 600 metres. St Bernadette’s church is on the right. Parking is in the church car park and on the broad pavement in front of the church fence.

Baptisms are made by arrangement with the priests of the parish. Parents (not grandparents!) should phone the parish house or speak to  Fr Stephen after one of the Sunday Masses. A few weeks’ notice is expected.

Weddings are arranged in the same way as baptisms. Six months’ notice is usually required.

St Bernadette’s Primary School and Clydeview School are important parts of our parish life.
